Bouros is one excellent choice for couples, friends or as a solo traveler. A lady from the farm welcomed us and showed us our room. She gave us fresh figs from the garden. There was a nice restaurant within walking distance of our room and a cantina on the beach. Karystos town is a short drive away. Totally recommended and worth while.

Location & Nearby Attractions
The farm offers a get-away from the bustle of city life. Near the farm about a 10 – 12 minute drive is the historic town of Karystos. An ancient town with ruins from antiquity. Also in Karystos is a Venetian castle where performances from workshop participants can take place.
On the beach in front of the farm is a small cantina with sandwiches, cappuccino and other light fare.
The town of Karystos has many bars and restaurants.
In-Karystos.com is a website with information about the sights in and around Karystos.
Nature is the biggest attraction on this remote southern tip of the island of Evia. The sea offers tranquil swimming. The beach is sandy with small, round pebbles and the water is clear allowing you to see the bottom of a sea that gradually slopes to greater depth. Snorkeling, stand up paddling, wind surfing and fishing are all activities you could enjoy with your own equipment. Hiking is also great nearby – sea views in the daytime, incredible starry skies at night.
Bars & Lounges
The beach has a cantina where you can get coffee, cappucino, bottled water and light fare including sandwiches and salads. Beer and wine is also available. 10 minutes drive away, there are lovely bars and lounges in Karystos. Try the digestive liquour Mastica with a soda and mint.
Shows & Entertainment
The town of Karystos hosts many events throughout the year.
The town of Karystos has a long history as an important town in ancient Greece. There are ruins near the town square and a castle where there are art exhibits and concerts. Healing centers with sun therapy, dream therapy and water as a central part of healing abounded in ancient Greece.

A small scale resort located in a nice garden only a few meters away from the beautiful sea water and the sandy beach, “Agalma”. Clean room with a sea view balcony. Ideal for a relaxing and easy going holiday.
Nana and Caryn’s jazz getaway in, Greece was a fabulous experience that I recommend highly for serious vocalists. We managed to practice, rehearse and prepare for a beautiful performance in a gorgeous castle in Bouros Greece with a receptive audience while having our own relaxed beachfront daily in a gorgeous sea. Swimming with the dolphins. The experience was unforgettable. Not to mention hanging out with awesome Jazz heroine, Jay Clayton. And the many wonderful vocalists who got to know each other in song and spirit. the cost was reasonable to boot. Nana and Caryn were awesome hosts . Well worth the money.
Location is amazing. The room is as described. A safe, peaceful and ideal place for relaxation. I will surely return. Thank you Nana.
